1、What is RSI?

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is an indicator used to analyze the intent and strength of buying and selling pressure in the market by comparing the average closing gains and losses over a certain period. It helps predict future market trends and reflects the market's level of activity over a specific timeframe.

2. MACD-RSI Quantitative Strategy Explanation

The MACD-RSI quantitative strategy utilizes the standard MACD and RSI algorithms to capture market information. The entry and exit conditions are as follows:

  1. (1).Go Long (Buy) when DIF > DEM and RSI value is greater than or equal to the threshold + 50.
  2. (2).Close Long (Sell) position when DIF < DEM or RSI value is less than or equal to 50 - the threshold.

In the provided chart, the RSI threshold is set to 8, and the entry and exit points are indicated by the arrows.

3. Create Backtest, Confirm Optimal Strategy Parameters

Before creating a live trading strategy, you can perform a backtest by inputting the expected parameters. Click on the backtest button, and the system will automatically backtest the data (defaulting to the last month). The backtest record will then generate a reference for analysis. Users can analyze the backtest data and select the optimal parameters for the live trading strategy.

4. Create Live Trading Strategy, Run Strategy

After setting the test parameters (you can use the optimal strategy parameters obtained from backtesting), proceed to create the live trading strategy and run it in the live market.
